i saw him make a very clever pass down low to either Brook or Bobby where he ball faked one direction to create a window and then effortlessly flipped it for the assist.
i saw him create two offensive rebounds with intuition and hustle. I still saw him crashing boards and boxing out at every opportunity. 2 fouls in 16 minutes is an improvement over his first few games. He got beat on some defensive possessions but i actually like that he seemed to be making a concerted effort to stay grounded and just get a hand up instead of pogo sticking. chases down the ball near the sideline but instead of looking for a man to throw it to, tries throwing it off the opponent and misses. gets a good feed near the rim and puts up an uncomfortable sweeping finger roll that gets easily blocked.Ģ. but i can only think of two bad plays from him.ġ. he was definitely a little more absent than normal, at least on the telecast.
Not even in an era defined by constant hyperbole is that remotely true. Buckboy wrote:Also, as a man who loves AJJ, he was beyond horrid.
